Proposed Timeline

Projected Benchmark Events in DETF Timeline: Summer and Fall 2009

• July 23, 2009: Work Teams 1 (Curriculum) and 2 (Instruction) First Written Report Drafts due to DETF Chair.
• August 27, 2009: Work Teams 3 (Policy) and 4 (Administrative Structure and Funding) First Written Report Drafts due to DETF Chair.
• September 24, 2009: DETF Chair Presents First Written Draft to entire DETF.
• October 1, 2009: First Draft of DETF Recommendations disseminated to ISU community  electronically for vetting—can post comments on the DETF Website.
• October 13, 2009: First Campus Wide Open Forum (10 a.m.-12 noon).
• October 21, 2009: Second Campus Wide Open Forum (2-4 p.m.)
• October 27, 2009: Student Open Forum (10 a.m. – 12 noon)
• October 29, 2009: DETF Monthly meeting to discuss additions/deletions/ to First Draft of DETF Recommendations.
• November 19, 2009: Approve Final Draft of DETF Recommendations to Provost Everts.  A final draft will be distributed to the entire DETF before the November meeting.
• December 1, 2009: Final DETF Recommendations delivered to Provost Everts.
• December 17, 2009: Provost Everts Addresses the DETF at our last meeting.  Conclude with a Recognition Reception for DETF.
